How hard is a biology major?

I am currently changing my major from Computer Science. I am having trouble deciding what to choose and started thinking about Biology. I had trouble with Calculus in my second semester and was wondering if Biology is hard and does it require Calculus or higher? I am currently a Freshman so I honestly have no idea what I should choose.
How hard is a biology major?
It requires a lot of science classes, like a year and a half worth, plus elem stats and either pre-calc or trig.
