Anyone has the experience of changing majors in UCLA?

I am going to be a freshman at UCLA..I was accepted as an art major and i am going to be in the school of arts and architecture..now i want to switch my major to the ones in the school of letters and science..or double major in both if its possible.

so my question is : Has anyone had the experience of changing majors from one school to another (or double major) in UCLA?

i want to know the process and if its possible to be done during orientation.

Thanks!

Changing into Letters and Science should be as simple as filling out a form and getting it signed by an advisor. Talk to your advisor or someone in the office of your department to find out what paperwork you need. Your major may require you to stay for a quarter before switching, so find out by talking to your department.

Double major is fairly common and unless a major specifically prohibit double majoring, you should be able to do it.

As long as the major you want is not impacted, it won't be a problem. Check their web site for current impacted majors. If your major of interest is impacted, it will be almost impossible.
