There has been much change in America in the last ten years. How has this change impacted your dreams and aspirations for the future?
I just need a few examples of some major changes in America. Besides Obama. Please and thank you.
What are a few major changes that have occurred in the past 10 years?
I think one of the things that has most impact America in the last ten years is 9-11. That one act had tremendous repercussions and has affected our aspirations for the future of our nation. It has created a fear in our country that was never there before. We feel less secure. It has affected our liberties in a huge way. You can now have your laptop taken away from you at some airport with no explanation and no guarantee of its return. The government can monitor your phone calls or e-mails. (the Patriot Act)

Another change involves the banking situation. With the banking situation it is harder to buy a house, get a loan to start a business, or anything else for that matter.

What are a few major changes that have occurred in the past 10 years?
The economy: everything is way more expensive than when I moved here 9 years ago, this impacts my future because it's not easy to buy food and make rent without money. Jobs are also harder to get right now, i used to get jobs quickly a few years ago, now it's zip.
Society: people have become more liberal and care less about moral values. I guess not only in America but in many parts of the world. It was weird to see a 13-years old pregnant child before, it has turned into something common today.
