It is possible for me to change my major once I get into a UC?

I'm planning on applying as a political science major to UCB, UCLA, and UCSD, but right now I'm torn between 2 majors:

political science and biology.

The reason why I'm not applying as a bio major is because I didn't take a SAT 2 science test

I was wondering if it's possible to apply and get in as a political science major then change majors as a freshman?

Yes. However, the science department is going to have to approve your major change application.

People try that trick all the time. However, if you don't meet minimum standards, they don't have to let you change.

It should be. I changed majors in my university 3 times before I settled on the one I wanted as a career. Its normal to change your major. I'm sure you will have no problems.
you can change your major as many times as you want, though i don't recommend more than three times...or you could double major or major and have one as a minor...good luck!
absolutely its just the more u change it the longer it may take due to certain classes you'll need for each major but yeah students change it all the time
You can always change your major, you just might not be able to change it right away. Most students change their major two or three times, so colleges are used to it.
most schools let you change your major up till you sophmore year.
As long is it won't hurt your acceptance chances to be declared po;i sci, there's no problem.

Your first semester will not be dramatically different, either way. And yes, after acceptance, you can call %26amp; redefine your major.
Of course! Most people change their major at least once during college. That is compeltely normal.
should be able to unless that have some sort of special requirement.
