I'm far too deep in to change majors now....
Is a major in Russian and minor in East European Studies good for law school?
Yes. If you have good grades, and good recommendations, and take a few law courses, have great LSATS, you'll be fine.
I have friends that have gotten into and graduated from great law schools with majors ranging from English Literature to Peace and Global Studies.
Pre-Law Majors are only good if you actually are 100% sure you're going to Law School- and how many 20 year olds do you know who REALLY know that about themselves? Not many. Your major is great because if you get into law school and decide you hate it- you have something to fall back on. Also, The Major and Minor may help you specialize in international law in the future.
Good luck on those LSATs! :)

no
Nothing wrong with it. You can major in anything you'd like and, if your grades are good and your LSAT is strong, get into a good law school. It's just that doing an academic major where you do a lot of writing can help prepare you for law school. Your major/minor combo seems to fit that. It will not be an issue.
