I'm thinking about transferring into a major that I would really enjoy. I just feel horrible telling my dad. Should I just do it and not tell him or should I tell him? He won't like it bc it will put me back a couple years. But I think it's something I'd like. I'm so nervous. Maybe I should just not say anything and pay for the rest of the years myself. Thoughts?? Advice??? Thanks!

if it's going to set you back a couple of years, i'm not surprised if he's not going to like it.
if i were you i would offer to pay for the additional time spent at college anyway, because its not really his problem. but having said that, where i live the majority of people pay for their own college anyway, and i'm one of them so maybe i just think its normal to pay for your own stuff

do a major you really want to do. also, think about your future. consider whether your intended major is going to help you in the future...
