so i applied to 5 universities with environmental studies as my major. but im having second thoughts cause i am also interested in art and theatrical arts. should i have applied undecided. should i see if i can change it. my top school is UCSC would i have a better chance getting in as an undecided?

Don't worry. You can change your major whenever you want to. There's no need to alarm the admissions office that you're undecided. You can pay a visit to your advisor and submit a change of major form to the registrar on the first day of class if you want or in your junior year if you want to. Relax for now. You have plenty of time to change your major, but you certainly shouldn't raise any red flags about your decision-making ability now, before you're even accepted. If you've already submitted your applications, just wait and see what happens. If you decide to change your mind, just wait until you actually enroll.
